Quantum RF
Q
Quantum RF is a minimally-invasive body procedure that remodels and tightens loose, sagging skin using radio frequency (RF) controlled heating. The difference between Quantum RF and other tightening procedures is the capability to get deep into the fatty layers of the body’s tissues. This creates thermal injury and contraction in specific targeted areas, resulting in the stimulation of collagen production. The heat process also results in a small amount (10-20%) of fat loss.
Dr. Van Natta often uses Quantum RF on the abdomen, thighs and arms. It can be performed on its own or in conjunction with a plastic surgery procedure. The treatment device is manufactured by InMode – the same company that provides our Morpheus8.
QuantumRF Consultation
QuantumRF requires general anesthesia. During your consultation, Dr. Van Natta will perform a thorough physical exam and determine if you are a proper candidate for this procedure. He will develop a personalized plan with realistic goals based on your body and tissues.
QuantumRF Benefits and Recovery
Visible results will be noticeable within about three months and can continue to improve for up to a year after treatment. There is minimal downtime, and patients typically wear a compression garment for one to two weeks. During your consultation, Dr. Van Natta will determine if you may need further treatments in the future to meet your specific goals, as QuantumRF does not stop the aging process.
